2026's balance work in Hunt: Showdown 1896 was dominated by Update 2.8's Inventory Slot Rework (weapon sizes 1–5, Special Long Ammo, ammo scarcity), preceded by Update 2.7 gunplay tweaks and followed by a shotgun/Springfield/Berthier pass in 2.8.1 and the Uppercut hotfix.

All weapon balance changes in The Finals Season 11 (Galaxy Masters) patches
Season 11 (Galaxy Masters, launched Jul 9 2026) has shipped 8 patches; only 11.0.0 and 11.3.0 carried balance changes. 11.0.0 reworked melee (stamina + precision) and tuned FCAR, 93R, KS-23, Pike-556 and more; 11.3.0 walked back several 11.0 changes (KS-23 110→104) and buffed melee follow-ups.
